A couple of accessibility points for the upgrade backlog

Accessibility is a strong requirement in the EU and UK (US as well). So here’s a couple of points of failure that we users can do nothing about (they are hard code issues).

Social Badges icon
There is no discernible name for the links. This causes problems for screen readers. Some info…

Navbar Pro
The links (buttons) in the navbar contain no text. This means the function or purpose of the link will not be presented to the user, causing problems with screen readers. Here’s the WCAG guideline:

I mention these with the best possible intention. Foundry is an excellent product, with unmatched support. But as things stand with these two stacks (at least) Foundry could not be used to deliver government of local authority websites – it would never be passed in an accessibility audit.

I’d suggest getting these into the backlog.
