About these slashes before folder names . .

Reading this post I have a curiosity. I have always used / before all subfolders in RW. What’s different about what IdahoSam is doing? The tooltip over the Folder field is like thisfolder-name

The screenshot you’re referring to is telling you that if you want to put the file in the root directory, then put nothing but a slash in the folder name. You would still not put a folder name and slash together, as I stated in the other thread. This is really not something that 99.9% of RapidWeaver users are, or should be doing.

That said, instead of using a slash in the place of a folder name, the best practice would IMO would be to simply make the root folder your publishing destination in your publishing settings. Slashes are not needed in the folder name, and should really not be used.
