I’ve set up the blog to use custom summaries. Then added a recent post stack to another page.
No matter what I put in the Summaries Length setting, it shows the entire custom summary.
Is this intended when using custom summaries, or a bug?

TL;DR – Not a bug.
Yes, that is the intended outcome. You’re providing a custom summary so Alloy is not truncating it. It assumes you want everything in a custom written summary to show, as it is custom and not an auto truncated version of the main entry. The truncation length is only for auto truncated posts.
