Well, I had everything working perfectly, but then I guess I messed-up. I am using F2 and F3 with Alloy. Everything was working perfectly, but I wasn’t sure what version of PHP I should be using. I switched from PHP version 7.4 to 8.1 at my web host, and the blog postings will no longer display., so I switched it back to version 7.4, but now they still will not display. I really need to have these blogs working! I have 3 of them. Is there anything that could be done to resolve this? I already contacted my web host about it and they also said to check with Elixir. Thank you!
Never mind. The blogs are working again!! I don’t know why, but I’m just thrilled that they are! I was thinking that maybe for some reason there was a long delay for the PHP to make the version switch. Anyway, thanks just the same! (I wonder what version of PHP is best for Alloy?)
@Cynthia22 Hi, it does not depend on Alloy but on the webhost. You have to ask him or check in your Cpanel or the Admin “corner” which PHP version is running on the server. From there you choose an equal or lower version under Rapidweaver. My blog works under php8 without any problem.
OK, I’ll check on those. It seems like maybe since this happened the slug is missing when I create a new blog in the Alloy editor. I don’t know if that’s related or not, but I guess I can get by without it. Thank you so much!
