The child items of my drop down menu are no longer displayed in edit mode (see screenshot), and I don’t know why, and what I have to set to make them visible and editable again.
Can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you
I have already tried unpacking the partial and also removed the toolbox, but it has not changed anything.
Hi,
Perhaps are you working, like me, on a laptop. When I hide either page list or page inspector or both, I can see the child items. I think it’s a question of width’s screen.
Yes, it works! Thank you very much for the tip. But that’s a bit strange behaviour in the editor, one has to know that, and it’s not mentioned in the documentation.
I’m on a 13" MacBook Pro. Screen real estate with RW/Stacks has been a challenge for as long as I can remember - it’s absolutely not a Foundry-specific issue.
I have the Page List permanently hidden (I’m running Classic, so pages are easily navigable using Find), and sometimes have to hide the Stacks Library, too.
If it was going to be documented anywhere, it should be the Stacks documentation, but no documentation can cover every eventuality.
It’s just the way it is when running RW/Stacks on a small screen. I guess it’s just the price we pay for ever more powerful tools!
Luckily we have this fantastic community where people help each other, and of course Adam with his incredible support
