How much weight is invoked with Accordion Panels

I have a website that is starting to use a lot of Accordion Panel dropdowns.

A typical page has maybe a dozen Accordion folders.
Each folder contains a dozen photo images and some paragraph text.

If somebody downloads the initial page that contains all of the Accordions are they bringing the weight of ALL the contents with each download or is the weight for anything inside the Accordion only invoked if the Accordion is opened?

Hi there @Jarvis –

Everything you place in an Accordion stack is loaded when the page loads. If you put 1,000 photos in your Accordion, they will all be loaded when your page loads.
