I’ve been using Alloy V2 for a while and added V3 to a new site. There are a pair of files that I cannot find anywhere in the posts directory. These are showing up in both the Editor and Posts views, but I can’t identify them in the file system. I also cannot delete them from the Editor view.
Any ideas on clearing these out? This is on a Mac Mini M1 running Big Sur with latest RapidWeaver (8.8.3) and Stacks (not sure how to check Stacks version) and all stacks are up to date.
Can you send me something via email? Send me a ZIP file containing your posts folder from your server. Download it via FTP and ZIP it up and send it to me.
Unfortunately not seeing it in my inbox or spam folder. Double check the address and try sending it again. Or you can send me a DM here on the forum with a download link via WeTransfer or a similar service.
If so, you seem to be publishing something inside this folder. You’ve likely named one of your pages the same as you’ve named your posts folder. The only thing that should exist in the posts folder is the markdown files the Editor creates. I would guess you’ve named a page in your project file the same thing you’ve named your posts folder in the Alloy Control Center stack.
Yes, that’s the folder. Yes, I named my posts folder in the project the same as what I specified in the editor folder. I’ll unscrew that now. Thank you.
No a problem at all. After you republish with the distinct folder names, just delete everything except the files with a .md extension in the posts folder.
