Post image captions

Is there a way to add a caption to an image that’s embedded inside of a blog post?

Markdown doesn’t have a specific tool for captioning photos. There’s plenty of ways to do something like this though since Markdown allows you to use HTML within it.

The easiest would be to simply insert your text, on a new line below your image. This won’t format it differently or anything, but is simple and straight forward.

If you do a Google search for “Markdown Image Caption” you’ll turn up several results for ways to achieve a caption for an image. One you might come across is this one for example. These should work just fine within a blog post.

Thanks Adam. I’ll look into that.
Really digging Foundry and Alloy so far, by the way.
