Shutter and PHP 8

I switched to PHP 8.1 on a site I use Shutter on and get the following error

[09-Jan-2023 02:36:21 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function imagecreatefromjpeg()

The thumbnails do not get created and shutter fails. Even if the thumbnails were already there it still does not display.

Good news it works in 8.0 however. And the “gd” module is there in both cases.

I’m still investigating.

Leave it with me. I have another site using 8.1 and Shutter is working fine. I’ll let you know if I find anything of interest.
