Alloy Embeds (file does not exist)

When I use Embeds, I get the message ATTENTION: The file https://mydomain.com/embeds/this-is-an-example-embed.md does not exist. This has been discussed many times on this support page, but I can’t find a solution.

PHP on my host has version 8.1 and in Rapidweaver PHP is also at version 8.1
CURL support is enabled

We’ll need live URLs to help out. That said, have you looked at the embeds folder to ensure the file is there and the URL matches the actual location?

I am not allowed by the client to publish a URL until official publication.
Can I send you the necessary information via Message?

The file is in the embeds folder and the URL corresponds to the actual location.

Sure. Send me a DM with the URL to the page and the file. Also send me a copy of the project file as well.

I have a meeting this afternoon, but after that I can probably take a quick look. Likely a setup issue.

I’ll send it to you tomorrow as it’s already evening here (CET Time Zone) and have other commitments by then.

Hi @Hugo - I experienced a similar error message which I corrected by updating the file URL of the embed that I was creating. By going in and replacing the https with http to reflect the fact that I haven’t got around to acquiring a SSL certificate, all seemed to be work. See attached screenshot. On this topic @elixirgraphics, tell me where does Foundry get this URL from ? Does it pull it down for the publishing settings ? I can’t find the source of this ‘anomaly’. Kind Regards | Justin

It’s probably a problem with my server. Should there possibly be a solution to it, I will mention it here.
