We’ve created a project with Alloy and droplets and embeds.
Here’s the project: Book Template | Home
Here’s the link to the editor: Book Template | Editor
The username is admin, password h@ppi.
The droplet tag does not display correctly in the droplet dashboard (see attached screenshot), even though it works correctly on the website.
We have projects using the same structure, but this is the only one that has this problem.
It’s as if the tidy URL is not displaying correctly?
We’ve checked and re-checked settings. Have started a completely new file and copied and pasted the stacks into the new file. Deleted the whole project from the webserver and re-published. But nothing works.
You’ve nested the Editor in another page. The Editor must be a top level folder, as in the URL I supplied above. I’m not saying this is your specific problem, but the Editor is definitely not where it should be.
Please provide us a copy of your project file, along with the droplets folder from your server.
Create a ZIP file containing your project file. This is the file you open in RapidWeaver to edit your site. After creating the ZIP file, upload it using a service like Dropbox, WeTransfer, Droplr, or a similar service to create download link for us. Paste that download link in your reply.
Hi Adam.
So here’s the wetransfer link. link
From our side we can see the problem even on the demo droplet. On the dashboard it shows the text of the droplet instead of the link.
I’ll take a look here in just a little while, I have to step out to run an errand first though. That said – Nothing in Alloy has changed in quite some time. And if you take a look at my current Editor for my own site, you’ll notice it is also behaving properly.
You’ve included the Droplet Parser on your Editor page. This means you’re actively parsing the contents of the Editor Page. This is not how droplets work. You should never have the Droplet parser on your editor page.
