How to best display many many images

I have a need to display many images preferably in a slider or carousel style. Ideally, I would have the images in a folder or database that could be parsed to pick out the actual images.

How best to do this kind of display?

According to ChatGPT:

The best way to do this kind of display is to take advantage of RapidWeaver’s add-on framework, Stacks. Stacks is a plugin that enables you to easily create sliders and carousels with images, text, and other types of content. Specifically, Foundry 3 is a powerful and popular stack that allows you to easily create sliders and carousels with the images hosted in a folder or database. Foundry 3 also includes advanced features such as the ability to create beautiful transitions between slides, the ability to set directional and looping options, and more.

So how do you host the images in a folder or database?

Good morning @tgunr

This is one of those cases where ChatGPT has hallucinated slightly. While Foundry can build sliders with images, text and other types of content, Foundry does not make use of a database in any way. Nor does it batch load images into a slider.

That’s what I feared
