Is there a way to control where read more occurs?
I assume you’re talking about alignment of the Read More button. If so there is a Read More Button section in the settings for the Blog Entries tool. It is pretty far down the list of settings.
If that’s not what you had in mind let me know with some added details.

Ah. You’re likely looking to use custom summaries. In the Editor tool turn this feature on:
Then republish your Editor page. Now when you edit a post you’ll get this field.
This is what will be seen in the Summary List View.
I don’t know why I wasn’t seeing that. Maybe I was just focused on adding something in the markdown like I’ve seen with other blog editors.

There’s a lot of settings in the Editor and Blog Entries tool. I totally understand missing it. Glad that what you needed was already available!
