Position text on one side of a header in a Foundry Banner

What is the best way/stack to use to keep a header text one one side or another of a banner?

It seems to be a challenge considering all the possible positions in a responsive web site.

Thank you!

Have you watched the Banner docs video?

https://foundry.elixirgraphics.com/documentation/banner/

I watched it at least 6 times. I tried using the basic banner stack and then Carpenter stack 2. Maybe this second one was a little too complex.

I have been using Foundry for just over a week. I really like what it does.

Thank you for your response.

Hi Bill,

do you mean something like this?

I used a Banner Stack and added a Column Stack. In this case I used 3 columns for it let me position the header and paragraph exactly where I wanted them. It can probably be done with 2 columns as well.

Good luck, I’m sure you will enjoy Foundry once you get your way around.

Yes, exactly. I am using an image with a person leaping which is on the right side and I want the text on the left. I tried a 2 column stack but that did not work. Plus as I checked al of the responsive devices, the text was all over the place. I finally got it to work but it is not “perfect”!

Thank you!

Bill

It’s often trial and error before you get it perfect.
I used these setting in colums:

Tablet breakpoints are exactly the same, Mobile is 10/3/10.

Trial and error is right. Thank you for this image.

I am using a lot of placeholder text and images as I learn Foundry. I previously used Foundation but like Foundry much better.

Thanks for your help.
